Still running a little short, folks.
Have you heard that you have to sacrifice to get what you want? I’m guessing yes, since that’s something I’ve heard a bunch. I don’t like that mindset though–the idea that you can’t have everything you want is honestly silly to me. Lots of people have everything they want, so why can’t I? Why can’t you?
I think the better way to consider this is to think about what you’re prioritizing. Is it really that important to watch all of Married at First Sight right this second, for example? Or will you be better served and relaxed by watching one episode and going to bed early, prioritizing sleep over the dopamine hit of more TV?
Maybe that’s a silly example, but I think it illustrates my point well! Obviously you need rest, and reality TV can be part of that rest! But don’t let that take priority over what you really need, which in this example, is sleep.
