I’ve been trying to figure out what my actual goal is with this blog. Loosely, I can say that the goal is to build an online presence. But, I don’t know that this blog really does much for me in the name of ‘gaining a following.’ The views are quite small, and I’m not necessarily putting in any work to increase visibility–my blogs are really short, and I’m not bothering with things like SEO.

So, why am I doing this? (also, why do I use the word ‘so’ so much? are y’all as sick of that as I am?)

I guess my goal, a little bit, is just to prove I can. And a little bit, it’s to remind myself that no matter what is happening with my day-to-day or my novel or the news, I’m still a writer. Even if all I write in a day is a little blog post.
