Do you ever surprise yourself with what you find inspiring?

For me this week, hilariously, the thing I have been listening to the most while writing is a playlist of all the Mets walk-up songs. As in, the songs that the baseball players walk out to whenever they’re up to bat or pitch. I’ve become a Mets fan this year, and in an effort to track down Carson Benge’s original walk-up song, my partner found Apple’s playlist of all the songs.

It’s kind of a weird mix, but I think that’s why it works for me.
