As of today (if I’ve counted right), I’ve posted to this blog 40 days in a row. That’s maybe the longest I’ve done something daily ever (aside from like, brushing my teeth).

I’m not sure why I’m doing this, exactly, because it’s not like I’m getting a lot of traction. But I think by posting like this, I’m letting the universe know that I’m here and I’m ready to share my voice with others. And it feels good to do something like this daily, to put myself out there and share my little thoughts with the void. Good practice, maybe, for when I’m having to really promote myself ahead of a novel publication.

But anyway: 40 days in. This is me, formally, telling the universe that I am not giving up. I believe in myself and the work I’m doing, and I trust that it is all going to click when the time is right.

And to those of you who are here right now, thanks for taking this journey with me.
