I’m doing some experimenting this week.
Patreon has launched some new discovery features, and to help creators use them, they’ve designed a ‘growth course’ meant to help you grow your page. One of the things they’re really emphasizing is experimentation–trying something out for a big then seeing if it works. And if it doesn’t work, they encourage you to ditch it.
I have a horrible, horrible time letting go of things that aren’t working. I always get this feeling that I can just force it, if I just figure out how to do it better it’ll work for me. So I’m trying to learn how to do is stop attaching my personal self-worth to the things I’m trying, and just learn from them. Simple enough, right? (that last bit was sarcasm!)
The thing I’m trying for the next two months is a ‘Welcome’ post with a starter collection. Check it out and let me know what you think!
What are you experimenting with lately?
Much love and gratitude.
