Today, I read a couple of really great articles in Jacobin. I highly recommend getting a subscription!

I also wrote a new micro (yay!) and started revising the one from yesterday. Today’s micro is kind of lame, but I think the one I wrote yesterday is promising. Reading the articles in Jacobin is actually what got me excited though, because their ‘progress’ theme for the spring 2025 issue meant a lot of the articles were sci-fi adjacent. There was also a kind of lackluster article about folks who think they’re sensitive to electromagnetic waves that didn’t really go anywhere, but definitely got me thinking. I’ve always loved sci-fi, and I keep thinking that one of these days I should try to write my own. We’ll see.
